About Me
MARVinspect was founded by Matt Marvin in 2022, with the brand name honoring his father, “Big Marv,” and the values he instilled—hard work, honesty, and integrity. Those principles continue to shape how the company operates and the level of service provided to every client.
With a background in restoration, remodeling, and customer service, Matt brings hands-on construction experience and a practical understanding of how homes are built and maintained. He performs inspections in accordance with North Carolina’s Standards of Practice, combining that experience with a detail-oriented approach on every property.
Outside of work, Matt enjoys spending time with his wife and two sons, whether at the soccer field, on local mountain bike trails, or supporting the Carolina Hurricanes. He also enjoys snowboarding, fishing and kitesurfing the waters of the Carolina coast.
