Meet Matt

Matt Marvin, Lead Inspector

Matt Marvin, AHIT certified and licensed in North Carolina (HILB #5594), serves as the lead inspector on every inspection. This provides consistency for clients and ensures you always know who will be conducting your inspection.
With a background in restoration, remodeling, and customer service, Matt brings years of hands-on experience to each property. He has completed numerous inspections and applies a detail-oriented approach to identifying areas of concern in both homes being purchased and those being sold.
Each accessible roof is walked when conditions allow. When roof access is limited, drone technology or extension pole imaging is used to obtain a clear view. Every inspection also includes thermal imaging, which can help identify conditions that may not be visible to the naked eye, such as moisture intrusion or overheating electrical and mechanical components.
Matt is also a licensed North Carolina real estate broker, bringing additional perspective on how inspection findings relate to the overall transaction process.
